Questions
Short answers about joining, raiding and how the guild runs.
How do I join?
Sign in with Battle.net, link your Discord account, and finish onboarding: pick a username, add your characters and professions, and choose your raid role. Then send an application on the Apply page. Officers review it, you get a Discord message when the decision is made, and accepted players join as Recruits. An officer will send your in-game invite.
What is the PvP ruleset faction lock?
On the PvP ruleset you play one faction per account, and Blizzard may temporarily stop new characters for one faction to keep the realms balanced. We are Horde, and we plan for a Horde character-creation lock at launch. If you are accepted while creation is locked, you go on a waitlist ordered by role need, and the Launch page carries our contingency plan.
Can I bring alts?
Yes. Your main character belongs in Legion of Terror and your alts go to our sister guild, Legion of Terror Reserve. Add them to your profile and mark which ones appear on member pages: alts are private by default.
How does loot work?
We use Soft Reserve with Hard Reserves. Before a raid, leaders can set Hard Reserves, and raiders place Soft Reserves (by default 1 in 10-player raids and 2 in 20- and 40-player raids). Everyone in the raid can see every reserve. If several people reserved the same item they roll among themselves, and with no reserves Main Spec beats Off Spec. We export reserves to the Gargul add-on.
Do you run GDKP?
No. GDKP is banned by Blizzard, and there are no gold-bidding features on this site or in our raids. Buying or selling gold, and boosting for real money, are zero-tolerance offences.
When are raids?
Raids unlock on December 9, 2026. Barrow Deeps (10 players) and Hyjal Summit (20 players) are confirmed by Blizzard, and Onyxia’s Lair (40 players) is reported. Each Legion sets its own raid nights, and the calendar is for members only. Every time on the site is shown in your own time zone.
Do I need Discord?
Yes. Linking Discord is part of onboarding. It gives us a verified account for role sync, direct messages about your application and raid reminders, and the sign-up buttons on raid posts. You never type your Discord name into the application.
Do you take Oceanic players?
Yes. Oceanic players play on Australian data centers but share the US region, so you can play with us. Put your real time zone and raid nights on your profile so leaders can place you in a Legion whose schedule fits.
What time zone do you use?
Our default guild time zone is US Eastern (America/New_York). The site shows every time in your own time zone, with Eastern time for reference, and Discord posts use timestamps that adjust for each reader.
What if I need a break?
Ask for a leave of absence. Approved leave moves you to the Shade rank, which keeps your profile and history and protects you from inactivity removal. Without leave, 30 days with no activity puts you in the removal queue (we warn at 25 days), and an officer makes the call. Removed members may reapply.
Still have a question?
Officers answer in Discord. The charter has the full rules.
