These terms cover legionofterror.gg, the site of the Legion of Terror player guild. Read them with the privacy policy.

Using the site

By using legionofterror.gg you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. The site is run by the founders of Legion of Terror, a player guild, for the guild's members and applicants. It is free to use.

Who can use it

  • You must be 13 or older, and meet the age rules of Blizzard and Discord.
  • You sign in with your own Battle.net account. Do not share your account or sign in as someone else.
  • Be truthful in your application and on your profile.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Membership and the charter

The site is the home of a guild. Joining the guild means accepting the charter, which sets the rules for conduct, loot, ranks, inactivity, leave and appeals. Officers decide applications, ranks and removals, and the charter says how.

Applying does not promise a place. Meeting a promotion requirement makes you eligible for a rank; a leader makes the call.

Acceptable use

Do not use the site to:

  • Break the law or the terms of Blizzard or Discord.
  • Harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone.
  • Pretend to be an officer or anyone else.
  • Share other people's private information.
  • Post spam, malware or links meant to steal accounts or money.
  • Reach accounts, data or admin areas you are not allowed to, or probe, overload or scrape the site in bulk, or work around its rate limits.
  • Get around a removal by using another account.

No gold selling, RMT, GDKP or boosting for money

Buying or selling gold, items, characters or accounts for real money, boosting for real money, and GDKP (bidding gold for loot) are banned in the guild and on this site. Blizzard bans them too. We remove members and content that promote them. Loot here uses Soft Reserve with Hard Reserves, and the charter explains how it works.

What you post

You keep ownership of what you write: your bio, your applications, and forum posts once forums open. You give us permission to store it, show it and process it on the site and in our Discord so we can run the guild. Do not post anything you do not have the right to share.

Officers and moderators may edit, hide or remove content that breaks these terms or the charter, and may lock or remove the accounts of people who post it repeatedly. Report content in Discord.

Ending your membership or your account

You can leave at any time. Use Disconnect Battle.net and delete my data in Settings, which the privacy policy describes.

We can suspend or remove an account, and remove a member from the guild, for breaking these terms or the charter, or for inactivity as the charter describes. Any warning or removal can be appealed once to a founder within 14 days. Removed members may reapply under the charter.

Trademarks and Blizzard

Legion of Terror is a player guild and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Blizzard Entertainment.

World of Warcraft and Blizzard Entertainment are trademarks or registered trademarks of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. in the U.S. and other countries. We use no Blizzard logos, key art or faction crests. The Legion of Terror name, crest and artwork belong to the guild. Do not use them to suggest that you speak for us or that we endorse you. Other names on this site belong to their owners.

Merch (applies when the shop opens)

There is no shop yet and nothing on this site is for sale. Before the shop opens, these terms will be extended with ordering, payment, shipping, returns and tax terms. Merch will use original Legion of Terror artwork and no Blizzard marks.

Other people’s services

The site links to and depends on services we do not control, such as Battle.net, Discord, Wowhead, CurseForge, Wago and GitHub. Their terms apply when you use them. Add-ons are made by third parties. We list their status as a courtesy and you install them at your own risk. Blizzard can change what add-ons are allowed to do at any time.

The site as it is

The site is provided as it is. It can be unavailable, change or lose features, and what it says, such as add-on status or dates reported by the press, can be wrong or out of date. We fix what we can.

Limit of liability

As far as the law allows, Legion of Terror and its founders, officers and volunteers are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the loss of items, gold, characters, accounts or game time, including penalties from Blizzard, that come from using the site or being in the guild. The site is free, so our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us, which is nothing.

Some places do not allow some of these limits. Where that is so, they apply only as far as the law allows, and nothing here excludes a liability that the law does not let us exclude.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top changes when we do, and we tell members in Discord. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept it. If you do not accept it, stop using the site and delete your account.

Contact

Ask in our Discord server (opens in a new tab) and message a founder (the Warlord or a Warbringer).
